In 1963, my grandfather introduced my father to Lake Powell for the first time, unknowingly planting a seed of lifelong devotion. That love was passed down to me in 1984, and I, too, instantly fell under its spell. Each visit since has only deepened my affection, and now my own children cherish Lake Powell as much, if not more, than I do. There's only one word to describe being there with loved ones: magical.

Like many fellow Lake Powell lovers, I've experienced the unpredictable power of its weather, including 70+ mph microbursts. Ensuring my family's safety and security on the lake became a personal quest. This led me to design and rigorously test our houseboat anchoring system over several years.
